Ingredients

1 gal. apple cider
2 tsp. whole cloves
2 tsp. whole allspice
2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
2/3 c. sugar (start with 1/3 and gradually add more if needed)
Preparation

Heat cider, spices and sugar to boiling.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Put the spices in a tea ball and hang over side of pan. I usually put in a crock-pot to keep warm.
