Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla flavoring.
    Add flour and nuts.
    Chill for 1 hour.
    Shape into balls or fingers.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
    Cool completely.
    Roll in 4x sugar.
