Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 sticks Fleischmann's margarine
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs, beaten slightly
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt (optional, I use salted margarine)
2 tsp. cinnamon
6 c. quick oats
3/4 c. applesauce
1 1/2 c. raisins

Preparation

Beat soft margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
Stir well.
Add oats, applesauce and raisins.
Mix well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes (I bake them 15 minutes).
Makes 60 good size cookies. Use tablespoon to drop dough on nonstick cookie sheets.
Store in airtight container.
