Frosted Almond Twists - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
2 1/2 tsp. milk
2 tsp. butter or margarine, softened
1/8 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Grease cookie sheet very well.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Unroll crescent dough onto cutting board and cut each piece in half along straight perforations.
With fingers pinch diagonal perforations together on all pieces.
Cut each rectangle lengthwise into 6 strips.
Twist 2 strips together like a rope.
Cut each rope in half.
Place ropes about 1-inch apart on cookie sheet.
Brush each strip with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 8 to 12 minutes until golden.
Remove from sheet immediately.
