Meal-In-One - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger or ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 (2 1/4 oz.) pkg. chili mix with onion
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
    1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
    1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. seasoned rice
    8 oz. shredded sharp cheese
Preparation
    Saute meat in large, heavy skillet or saucepan on low heat. Stir and separate particles until color changes.
    Do not brown. Pour off excess fat.
    Add salt, pepper, chili mix and catsup. Continue cooking on low heat about 20 minutes.
    Add mushrooms, chestnuts, tomatoes and corn.
    Continue cooking about 10 more minutes.
    Pour into large casserole dish.
