Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. grated nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    4 large eggs
    1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. heavy cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped crystallized ginger
    1 Tbsp. grated orange zest
    3 c. shredded peeled carrots
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cake: Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Butter and dot with flour three 8-inch x 2-inch round cake pans. In bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, salt and cloves. In bowl, beat eggs and sugar on low heat in oil, cream, vanilla, ginger and orange zest. Beat in flour mixture; add carrots and walnuts. Pour batter into pans. Bake until dark golden brown, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool in pans on rack 20 minutes. Turn out and cool completely.
