Fiery Chicken Casserole(1 Hour Total) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) chicken
    1 onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. creme fraiche or sour cream
    1 small can (4 oz.) green chili peppers, sliced
    chives for garnish
Preparation
    Rinse chicken.
    Pat dry.
    Cut chicken into serving pieces. Peel and chop onion.
    In a skillet, heat butter.
    Add chicken pieces, a few at a time.
    Saute until well browned on all sides. Add onion.
    Saute a few more minutes.
    Sprinkle with salt and paprika.
    Sprinkle with flour.
    Stir to combine.
    Cover.
    Cook over medium-low heat about 25 minutes, turning chicken pieces over from time to time.
    Add creme fraiche or sour cream and chili peppers.
    Blend well.
    Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
    Season to taste.
    Sprinkle with chopped or sliced chives.
    Serve.
