Barbecued Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork butt
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 inch sliced fresh ginger root, mashed
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sherry
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1/2 tsp. five spice
    1/2 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Cut meat into 1/2 to 3/4-inch strips.
    Combine garlic, ginger root, sugar, salt, sherry, soy sauce, honey, five spice and food coloring.
    Pour over meat; marinate for 1 hour.
    Remove meat from marinade and roast in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours, basting frequently with the marinade and drippings.
