Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco vegetable shortening
    3 c. granulated sugar
    5 large eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cream butter and shortening together in a large bowl until light and smooth.
    Add sugar and continue beating until well blended.
    Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition until well blended.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa; add alternately with the milk to the batter, beating well.
    Add the vanilla and beat until well blended.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
    Pour in the batter and \"spank\" the bottom of the pan to distribute the batter evenly.
    Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Let the cake cool in the pan and turn out onto a cake plate.
