Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    5 to 6 eggs
    4 c. milk
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook rice until done.
    Rinse in strainer with warm water. Beat eggs and add remaining ingredients.
    Put rice in casserole dish.
    Pour egg mixture over rice and stir.
    Place casserole dish, uncovered, in a pan of water and bake at 350\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes until skin forms.
    (Bake for about 1/2 hour more after skin forms.)
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Great served with baked ham. Total baking time is about 1 1/2 hours.
