Savory Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. fresh or smoked sausage
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. carrots, sliced
    2 small zucchini, sliced
    10 3/4 oz. can beef broth
    10 3/4 oz. can Italian tomato soup
    1 1/2 c. water
    16 oz. can Great Northern beans (undrained)
    1 c. bow-shaped pasta (uncooked)
Preparation
    Slice sausage into 1/4 inch pieces.
    Brown lightly in oil in large soup pot.
    Stir often to prevent sticking and burning.
    Add onion, garlic, carrots and zucchini.
    Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Add broth, soup and water and bring to a boil.
    Stir in beans and pasta and reduce heat to low.
    Simmer about 15 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.
    Stir occasionally.
    Yield:
    4 to 6 servings.
