Blue Ribbon Gingersnaps(Maryland State Fair 1St Place Winner) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1/4 c. light molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cream the Crisco, brown sugar, egg and molasses.
    Mix the remaining ingredients.
    Combine. Cover and chill 1 hour or overnight. Shape into balls. Roll balls in sugar. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
