Cracker Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

32 saltine crackers
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. pecans
6 egg whites
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation

Crush crackers very fine; add 1 cup sugar, baking powder and pecans.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
Add cream of tartar and add rest of sugar; beat until stiff.
Fold the dry ingredients in egg whites.
Pour into well-greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or golden brown.
Remove cake after cooling, chill.
Frost with Cool Whip.
Spread top with pineapple, then cover with coconut and candied cherries.
