Carrot Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. shredded carrots
1 c. chopped apples
1 c. golden raisins
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; blend thoroughly. Sift together dry ingredients.
Add to first mixture and mix well.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Grease and flour rectangular pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes until center of cake is firm.
Cool in pan.
(If two 9-inch layer pans are used, grease and wax paper line them.
Cool 10 minutes, then invert.)
When cool, frost with Pecan Cream Cheese Frosting.
