Deer Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pinto beans
    5 c. canned tomatoes
    1 lb. chopped green peppers
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 lb. deer meat or lean meat
    1 lb. ground lean pork
    1/2 c. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin
    1 1/2 tsp. Accent
    1 1/2 lb. chopped onion
Preparation
    Wash beans and soak overnight in water 2-inches above beans. Cook in same water until done.
    Do not drain.
    Add tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Saute green peppers in salad oil for 5 minutes.
    Add onions and cook until tender, stirring often.
    Add garlic and parsley.
    Melt butter in large skillet and saute meat for 15 minutes.
    Add meat to onion mixture and stir in chili powder and cook 10 minutes.
    Add this to beans and the spices. Simmer covered for 1 hour.
    Cook uncovered for 30 minutes.
    For even better chili, simmer very slowly all day.
    Add a little water as needed.
