Leek Tarte(Tarte Aux Poireaux) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 leeks, finely chopped
    1 c. heavy cream
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. diced Swiss cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 sheet puff pastry
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Steam the leeks in a covered skillet for 10 minutes with the butter.
    Beat the eggs.
    Add salt and heavy cream.
    Fit puff pastry into a 9-inch pie pan.
    Sprinkle cheese on bottom; cover with prepared leeks.
    Pour egg mixture over leeks.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
