Dried Apple Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. dried apples
    3/4 c. sugar (or sweetened to taste)
Preparation
    Cook apples until soft; stir in sugar.
    Make a crust from any recipe.
    Roll dough out in rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
    Put cooked apples on top of crust.
    Starting at long edge, roll up like jelly roll and transfer to a greased baking sheet.
    Pinch edges together good and lay seam side down.
    Sprinkle with sugar and butter.
    Cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Serve with Mama (Lena) Rohrer's Sauce.
