Cheesy Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 potatoes
    1 stick butter
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 onion
    1 can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Slice potatoes in rounds and boil until almost done.
    Drain and put potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Melt butter in a large skillet; add onion and saute until tender. Add the milk and cheese.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Pour over potatoes and bake about 20 minutes.
