Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    lemon juice
Preparation
    Wipe and core apples.
    Put in a baking dish and fill cavities with sugar and spice, allowing 1/2 cup sugar to 8 apples and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg.
    A few drops of lemon juice in boiling water to cover bottom of dish (9 x 13-inch).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until soft.
    Serve warm with ice cream.
