Red Hot Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 tsp. crushed red pepper
2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 can kidney or pinto beans
shredded cheese (optional)
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 cans whole tomatoes
4 Tbsp. water (as needed)
Preparation

Brown ground beef; drain fat.
Saute drained beef with onion, jalapeno and green peppers, 1 tablespoon chili powder and crushed red pepper.
Add water as needed.
Saute for about 10 minutes. Add the beans, tomatoes, Tabasco sauce and remaining chili powder. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Garnish each serving with shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream or sliced jalapeno peppers, if desired.
