Nabisco Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. Nabisco vanilla cream wafer cookies
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. soft butter
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
    1 large can apricots, drained
    12 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Grind cookies fine.
    Pack 2/3 in 9 x 13-inch pan; pat firmly. Cream butter, sugar and eggs; put on top of ground cookies.
    Chop nuts; spread on top of cream layer.
    Add apricots (chopped fine), then spread Cool Whip over top.
    Sprinkle with remaining ground cookies.
    Let stand in refrigerator at least 12 hours.
