Marinated Spareribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. spareribs
1 slice onion
water
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place ribs in pan.
Add slice of onion and cover with water.
Simmer for 50 minutes.
Drain and place ribs in an ovenproof baking dish and chill.
Mix the sugar, cornstarch, curry powder and cloves.
Add boiling water, vinegar, soy sauce and garlic.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and boiling.
Pour over ribs and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
