Chocolate Syrup Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. canned chocolate syrup
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    dash of salt
Preparation
    In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs until very creamy and well blended. Add salt. Stir in flour, mixing to blend well. Add chocolate syrup, vanilla and chopped nuts.
    Pour into well-greased and floured 9-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan.
    Cut into squares. Garnish with powdered sugar or pecan halves, if desired.
