Tater Crisp Chicken - cooking recipe

1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 c. mashed potato flakes
1 tsp. salt or to taste
2 to 3 lb. frying chicken, cut in pieces
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine potato flakes and salt in plastic bag.
Rinse chicken pieces in cold water, then shake in the plastic bag.
Place chicken, skin side down, in melted butter.
Bake 60 minutes; turn once after 30 minutes.
