Carrot Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/8 c. salad oil
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. salt
    6 eggs
    2 boxes 10x powdered sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    4 1/2 c. grated raw carrots
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
    2 pkg. large cream cheese
Preparation
    Combine oil and sugar; mix well.
    Sift together remaining dry ingredients.
    Sift half of dry ingredients into sugar mixture; blend.
    Sift in remaining dry ingredients alternately with eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Add carrots and mix well, then mix in pecans.
    Makes 4 layers.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Frost with cream cheese and powdered sugar.
