Cheese-Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. pineapple syrup
    1 c. drained crushed pineapple
    1 c. grated American cheese or Velveeta
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in cold water. Dissolve sugar in pineapple syrup over low heat.
    Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Chill until partially set.
    Add pineapple and cheese.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Turn into mold.
    Chill until firm.
