Rice-Broccoli Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1/2 c. milk
1 c. water chestnuts, cut fine
2 c. very dry cooked rice
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
Preparation

Saute onion and celery in butter.
Add soup, milk, water chestnuts and 1/3 jar of Cheez Whiz; blend.
Stir in thawed and drained broccoli and rice.
Pour into lightly buttered 2-quart casserole dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Soften remaining Cheez Whiz by warming over double boiler.
Spread over casserole.
Bake 5 minutes longer.
