Light Crab Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. skim milk
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 small garlic, pressed
    1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    4 oz. flake or leg-style imitation crab meat, coarsely chopped
    2 Tbsp. parsley, snipped
    24 slices canape bread
Preparation
    In small bowl, combine cream cheese, milk, lemon juice and salt.
    Finely chop onion.
    Add to cream cheese mixture along with pressed garlic.
    Mix well.
    Spread cream cheese mixture over bottom of small 8-inch pan.
    Coarsely chop tomato and bell pepper and sprinkle over cream cheese mixture.
    Top with crab meat.
    Snip parsley and sprinkle over crab meat.
    Cover and refrigerate. Serve spread with bread slices.
    Yield:
    15 to 20 servings.
