Chicken La Orange - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 broiler or fryer chicken, cut into pieces
salt, pepper and paprika
1/4 c. melted butter or oleo
2 onions, sliced
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped mushrooms
2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. sherry
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
3 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Wash and dry chicken.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Roll pieces in flour.
Place chicken in casserole.
Sprinkle over with onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
In saucepan, mix orange juice, sherry, brown sugar, salt and orange rind.
Mix water and cornstarch.
Stir into orange juice mixture.
Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture thickens.
Pour over chicken.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
