Egg Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Have egg whites at room temperature.
    Beat egg whites until they are very stiff.
    Add the sifted sugar and salt very slowly, 1/2 teaspoon at a time.
    Beat the eggs on high speed constantly. Add the vanilla.
    Continue to beat for several minutes after the last of the sugar and vanilla have been added.
    They should be very stiff.
    Place by spoonfuls, depending on the size you want the kisses, on a large baking sheet that has been covered with brown paper.
    Place in center of a 325\u00b0 oven for 4 to 5 minutes. Turn off oven and leave kisses until oven is cool.
    Egg Kisses may be made several days ahead.
