Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. canned tomatoes (fresh tomatoes can be used)
    2 slices bread, cubed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. chopped green peppers (optional)
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in pan.
    Heat to serving temperature and serve.
