Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium onions, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    2 lb. boneless beef chuck, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    thyme
    marjoram
    1/2 c. beef bouillon
    1 c. dry red wine
    1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    4 c. hot cooked Uncle Ben's converted rice
Preparation
    In heavy skillet, cook onions in bacon drippings until brown. Remove onions from pan.
    Add beef and more bacon drippings, if necessary.
