Sweet Lime Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. lime
    2 qt. vinegar
    4 1/4 lb. sugar
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 tsp. celery seed
    cucumbers
    2 gal. water
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pickle spice
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers in 2 gallons of water and lime overnight. Rinse well and cover with fresh water.
    Soak 3 hours and then drain.
    Cover with vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves, spice and celery seed.
    Soak overnight.
    Cook 40 minutes and then pack in jars.
