Crawfish Boil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 gal. water
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    4 onions, quartered
    2 tsp. crushed thyme
    6 bay leaves
    12 whole cloves
    6 stalks quartered celery
    4 lemons, quartered
    3 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
    6 cloves minced garlic
    3/4 c. salt
    12 lb. crawfish (alive if possible)
    melted margarine
Preparation
    In a very large pot, combine water, cayenne, onion, thyme, bay leaves, cloves, celery, crushed red pepper, lemon, garlic and salt.
    Bring water to a boil; add crawfish and boil for about 6 minutes or until crawfish is deep red.
    Remove from shell.
    Serve with melted butter.
    Serves about 8.
    Great for a cookout, lawn party, etc.
