Creamy Fettuccine Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. fettuccine
    1 c. broccoli flowerets
    1 c. julienne cut carrots
    1/2 c. chopped red pepper
    1 3/4 c. skim milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Neufchatel cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. chopped green onions
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. julienne cut, cooked chicken or turkey
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Prepare fettuccine as directed on package, adding broccoli, carrots and red pepper during the last 5 minutes of cooking time; drain.
    Stir milk, Neufchatel cheese, onions and seasonings in medium saucepan on low heat until smooth.
    Stir in turkey and Parmesan cheese.
    Toss pasta and vegetables with sauce.
    Serve immediately.
