Strawberry Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    thin slices sponge or pound cake
    sweet wine or rich sherry
    chopped, sweetened, fresh strawberries
    whipped cream, seasoned with sugar and lemon extract
Preparation
    Arrange the cake around the inside of a glass serving dish. Over this, pour the wine or sherry.
    When the cake has soaked up most of the wine, spread with a layer of strawberries.
    Top with whipped cream.
