Gramma'S Candied Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 sweet potatoes
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 cap full lemon extract
    cinnamon to taste
    1/2 c. hot water
    mini marshmallows
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender.
    Peel and slice lengthwise.
    In a 10-inch skillet, melt margarine.
    Add brown sugar, lemon extract, cinnamon and water.
    Bring to a gentle boil and add sliced sweet potatoes.
    Heat for several minutes on each side (sweet potatoes should be hot when removed from skillet).
    Remove potatoes to a 13 x 9-inch dish.
