Lazy Daisy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 or more Tbsp. butter or shortening
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Beat eggs lightly.
Add sugar gradually.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to the eggs and sugar.
Scald the milk and butter together and add vanilla.
Bake about 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan (layers about 20 minutes).
