Steak And Kidney Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef chuck, cubed
    8 oz. lamb kidneys, sliced
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1/2 bay leaf
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put beef, kidneys, mushrooms, onion, parsley, bay leaf and salt in 4-quart casserole.
    Add 2 cups water. Cut butter into flour until it resembles coarse meal.
    Add milk and mix lightly to form soft dough.
    Turn
    out onto floured board and roll 1/8-inch thick.
    Place on top of casserole.
    Cut slits in dough.
    Bake in a slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 3/4 to 2 hours.
    Serves 6.
