Juicy Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Jonathan apples, cored and sliced thin
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour, divided
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. quick cooking oats
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Coat a 9 x 9-inch baking dish with butter.
    Place apple slices in a large bowl.
    Sprinkle with sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Toss to coat, then pour into baking dish.
    In a medium bowl, mix butter, remaining 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour, brown sugar, remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg until crumbly.
    Stir in oats.
    Sprinkle over apples, making sure edges are coated.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes until apples are tender.
    Serve with evaporated milk.
    Makes 6 servings.
