Italian Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 lb. lean ground pork
    1 can tomato paste
    Ricotta cheese
    1 egg
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large tomato, chopped
Preparation
    Combine beef, pork, onion, salt, pepper, oregano and thyme with tomato paste.
    Put into loaf pan.
    Make a trench in the top of meat loaf.
    Bake for 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Mix Ricotta cheese and egg; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Remove meat loaf when done and pour cheese mixture on top.
    Sprinkle with chopped onion and tomato.
    Bake for 30 additional minutes.
    Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
