Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. white sugar or less
3/4 tsp. salt or less
1 egg
3/4 c. milk or more (if you like moister pancakes)
3 Tbsp. melted butter, margarine, oil or shortening
Preparation

Dump everything into a bowl (egg and shortening last) and beat a bit, but not too much.
Batter should be a little lumpy.
