Hearty Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes
1 large onion
1 large can evaporated milk
1/3 lb. bacon
1 lb. can corn, drained
salt, pepper, parsley
Preparation

In a large kettle, place sliced potatoes and onions.
Add water to cover and cook until potatoes are soft.
Use masher to break potatoes into smaller pieces.
Let simmer on low heat to boil down a bit.
Fry bacon until crisp and break into bits.
Add bacon, milk, corn, salt, pepper and parsley to potatoes.
Add some of the bacon drippings for flavor.
Heat thoroughly (do not boil).
