Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 chopped small green pepper
1 shredded medium carrot
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 chopped small onion
Preparation
-
Shred cabbage. Add salt. Let stand 1 hour and drain. Heat water, sugar and celery seed. Boil 1 minute. Cool to lukewarm. Stir in carrots, pepper, onions and drained cabbage.
