Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. milk
    24 Ritz crackers, crushed
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Peel onions and chop coarsely.
    Saute onions in butter 15 to 20 minutes until clear.
    Stir in milk.
    Put 1/2 the onion mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Top with 1/2 the cracker crumbs and 1/2 the cheese.
    Repeat; ending with cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
