Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage
    3/4 stick butter
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, chopped
    1 can mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz.)
    1 c. dried bread crumbs
    salt and red pepper (cayenne) to taste
Preparation
    Coarsely chop cabbage.
    Remove core and boil until tender in salted water.
    Set aside.
    Wilt onion in melted butter.
    Add cheese.
    When melted, add soup.
    When blended, add boiled cabbage and mix well.
    Add spices.
    Put into 1 1/2-quart greased casserole.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake 20 to 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
