Strawberry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. soft margarine
8 oz. cream cheese (soft)
1 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 large strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

Preparation

Mix pretzels, sugar and soft margarine together.
Press mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 minutes; cool for 1 hour.
Mix cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip together, then spread mixture over cooled crust.
Dissolve strawberry jello in water.
Add frozen strawberries.
Stir well.
Chill slightly. Pour over other layer.
Chill until well set.
Garnish with crushed pretzels.
