Two Minute Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    milk
Preparation
    Break the egg into a measuring cup.
    Add milk to egg to make 1/2 cup.
    Beat well; stir slowly into sifted dry ingredients.
    Add more milk, if necessary, but keep batter stiff.
    Drop into boiling stock with spoon dipped in stock.
    Cover; simmer for 2 minutes. Turn dumplings.
    Cook 2 more minutes.
    Serve at once.
