Low-Fat Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    4 egg whites, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. skim milk
    2 lb. ground sirloin
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. mustard powder
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, sage, pepper, egg whites, onion, garlic and milk. Add beef and mix.
    Place in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Remove from oven and carefully drain fat from pan. Combine tomato sauce, mustard and brown sugar. Spread over meat loaf and bake 15 minutes more. Makes 8 servings.
