Apple Nut Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. finely chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Preparation

Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; set aside.
Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to creamed mixture.
Fold in apples, spread batter in prepared pan.
